Tracey Middleton and David Garwood are an accomplished and versatile accordion duo playing in harmony, a sound enriched on occasions by Judy Brierley on guitar. The band have been together for approximately 14 years and met through the Camping Club Folk Group. Their wide ranging musical backgrounds mix to provide a unique harmonic sound. Traceys background comes from formal training in Classical music as well as Theatre work and Accordion Competitions. David in the past has played in modern sequence and American square dance bands, whilst Judy has played Bass Pans in a steel band, and Double Bass in a variety of Bands. As well as playing for Playford (17th/18th Century dance music), American and English (including nowdays Victorian tea dances), they often perform in concert at International accordion festivals and even Cheltenham music festival. They entertain at Weddings, Birthdays and PTA's etc, and regularly play at folk dance clubs around the country including Cecil Sharp House, and well known festivals such as Whitby, Lichfield, and Southam Grand Union of Dancers. They have also been known to run Folk Music Workshops. They enjoy playing a diverse range of music from Playschool to Playford,
and include Handel, The Shadows, Walt Disney, Tangos and of course Folk
music in their repertoire.
